Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Medical Scientist - Medical and Regulatory Affairs Position type: Full-time- Contract Duration: 06 Months Location: Lawrence Township, NJ As a Medical Scientist you will:

• Maintains therapeutic area and product knowledge through ongoing assessment of relevant published literature, treatment guidelines, internal resources, and data.
• Contributes strong medical advice for promotional review responsible for providing input and advice to conduct the review of promotional materials for scientific/medical validity.
• Critically review and provide solutions to complex promotional strategies and tactics to ensure balance of the messages, medical accuracy, and appropriateness of the content of the materials/activities in accordance with relevant guidance
• Proactively align and build strong relationships with commercial and other advisors/stakeholders on issues or concerns in promotional review.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership within the medical promotional review community of practice, to help drive best practices aligned with strategic imperatives.
• Determine acceptability of data/references used to support promotional claims and provide strong guidance as well as effective negotiation leading to resolution for pieces.
• Ensures awareness of current trends within the industry
• Completes all assigned SOPs and training within designated timeframe and adheres to job-specific SOPs and work instructions. The ideal candidate will have:
  • PharmD, MD, PhD preferred with minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical practice or the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Prior promotional review experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Prior experience in the cardiovascular therapeutic area preferred.
