A leading company in the chemical manufacturing industry, committed to excellence in safety, quality, and innovation. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Plant Maintenance Manager to join our team and lead the Maintenance Department.

Position Summary:
The Plant Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance activities, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency across the facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to equipment and plant maintenance. The Maintenance Manager will work collaboratively to improve maintenance strategies and processes while supporting the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to a team of technicians, mechanics, and boiler operators.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximize equipment performance and lifespan.
• Use and maintain the computerized maintenance management system to manage work orders and spare parts inventory.
• Review work requests, prioritize tasks, and coordinate resources to complete maintenance efficiently.
• Manage Preventative Maintenance and Mechanical Integrity programs, including inspection data collection and analysis.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures.
• Oversee relationships with third-party contractors and vendors.
• Plan and manage plant shutdowns and outages.
• Collaborate with purchasing teams to manage parts, materials, and budgets.
• Provide technical support for plant upgrades and capital projects. Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in maintenance within a chemical manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and proven ability to build a safety-first culture.
  • Expertise in maintaining reactors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, boilers, and related utility equipment.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, technical drawings, and process specifications.
  • Experience with OSHA PSM, MOC, and related compliance programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to coach and mentor team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Skills:
    • Active or previous boiler licensing.
    • Experience managing maintenance within OSHA PSM or similar programs.
    • Working knowledge of instrumentation, PLCs, and process control systems.
    • Understanding of water and wastewater facility maintenance. Physical Requirements:
      • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
      • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at elevated heights.
