TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Holmdel, New Jersey, 07733 Pay Information $2,380 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Med Surg/Tele Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Med Surg/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting License: Current RN License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) Must-Have: - Strong Med Surg/Tele background - Experience with wound vacs and chest tubes highly preferred Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs. - Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients through initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician---s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of patients. - Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. - Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Schedule Notes: The nurse may be floated to other Med Surg units as needed. Work every other weekend and holidays, including one summer and one winter holiday if required.
