Quality Control Chemist - Plainsboro, NJ

PeopleShare is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to join a growing pharmaceutical team in Plainsboro, NJ! This role is essential in maintaining the integrity and quality of pharmaceutical products by conducting analytical tests and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Pay: $35-$40/hour
• Type: Contract-to-Hire Responsibilities:
  • Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using techniques like HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
  • Conduct stability testing and validate analytical methods to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain detailed records of lab activities, test results, deviations, and corrective actions in alignment with GMP and GLP standards.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment. Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical QC laboratory or similar environment.
    • Proficiency with HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
    • Strong understanding of cGMP, GLP, and FDA regulations.
