The OpportunityThe Director of Strategic Pricing - NA executes critical pricing capabilities, including strategy development for the complete product lifecycle, price management, governance, analytics, and forecasting. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Market Access & Revenue Management, you will: - Originate and evaluate pricing programs to support market access goals.
- Support the complete CSL NA Seqirus portfolio, including pipeline and inline products.
- Partner with leaders across cross-functional units, including Commercial Operations, Legal Affairs, Policy, and Compliance.
- Evolve existing capabilities to ensure CSL Seqirus will meet our business objectives while developing a talented team.The RoleLead CSL Seqirus NA Strategic Pricing function in pricing execution:
- Develop strategic pricing recommendations for private markets in collaboration with NA Commercial Operations teams.
- Guide strategic pricing decisions by collecting and analyzing industry pricing trends to obtain insights that will inform Market Access & Revenue Management decisions.
- Partner cross-functionally to incorporate a differentiated value proposition into product development from the earliest stages.
- Provide leadership to CSL Seqirus by communicating the current strategic pricing landscape and advocating for appropriate investment in evidence and market access programs.
- Provide consultation and technical advice on strategic pricing to internal colleagues throughout the organization.
- Influence pricing forecasting for all customer segments.
- Develop infrastructure (tools, systems, databases) to maintain pricing trends and history, allow analytics, and inform decision-making.Lead the evolution of critical CSL Seqirus strategic pricing capabilities:
- Develop a long-term roadmap to evolve well-functioning strategic pricing capabilities.
- Influence Senior Leadership on interpreting important market events with a focus on securing investments for long-term growth.
- Collaborate with leaders across the organization to understand the market dynamics and analytical needs to support future growth.
- Contribute to the evaluation and evolution of Long-Range Plan (LRP), demand planning, and annual budget processes.
- Communicate insights from market intelligence and analytical projects to Senior Leadership.Provide leadership to the NA Market Access & Revenue Management team to deliver on the business strategy:
- Model CSL Seqirus values while achieving organizational goals.
- Develop a talented team and create synergies across the functions.
- Motivate the team to deliver results through meetings and to exceed Workplan objectives.
- Cultivate an atmosphere of cross-functional collaboration that creates a winning environment and inspires all to hold themselves and others accountable for delivering excellence.
- Provide insight beyond my function to deliver our strategy.
