Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Telemetry (Tele CWR) Job Duration: 39 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience required License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: - BLS - AHA - NIHSS - ACLS Must-Have: - ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam Job Description: - Responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients' needs. - Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments based on patients' problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions. - Manage the care of patients. - Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
