This crucial position involves guiding the application of data science methodologies across HR, Finance, and Legal departments, focusing on transforming operational data into actionable insights that improve efficiency, compliance, and overall organizational performance. If you possess a robust background in data science, a passion for optimizing business operations, and experience in supporting enabling functions through data-driven insights, consider making Genmab the next exciting step in your career journey.We have a hybrid model that requires a weekly onsite presence in Princeton, NJ.Responsibilities - Develop and execute a strategic vision for leveraging data science methodologies to streamline and enhance the efficiency of HR, Finance, and Legal operations.
- Lead a team of data scientists, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate closely with department heads and cross-functional teams to align data science initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Oversee the design and implementation of advanced analytical models and algorithms to analyze complex operational data, ensuring outcomes are of high quality and actionable.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science, integrating cutting-edge technologies and techniques into our operational processes.
- Communicate complex data science concepts and project outcomes to a variety of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in data science, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within industries that include HR, Finance, and Legal operations.
- Demonstrated experience with Python, R, and data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc. LLM experience is a plus
- Deep understanding of business processes in HR, Finance, and Legal departments.
- Proven track record of applying data science methodologies to enhance business operations, risk management, and decision-making processes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and effectively communicate complex concepts.
- Experience in operational optimization and efficiency improvement projects.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and practices related to HR, Finance, and Legal operations is a plus.
- Publications in data science or operational optimization conferences/journals is a plus.For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:$206,250.00---$343,750.00The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.About You
