NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Grants, New Mexico.Job Description & Requirements

  Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12
  
  L&D/OB (LDRP) RN Requirements:
  
  MUST HAVES:
  
  Absolute Minimum of 2-years Labor and Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) experience (they would prefer them to have 4-5 years ideally)
  
  CERTS: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring - which can be from AWHONN or Relias Academy (STABLE also preferred but not required)
  
  Travel experience is preferred NOT required
  
  Charting: Fetal Link and Cerner
  
  Must be proficient caring for the mother and baby
  
  No high-risk mothers typically admitted as there is no high-risk section
  
  Must be comfortable with typically L&D IV gtts especially Pitocin and Magnesium
  
  Use Omnicell
  
  Unit is a full Labor and Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) floor all in one. Will have to care for the patient through the continuum of care until discharge.
