About the RoleTorrisi, a leading restaurant and hospitality company, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and driving business growth.Key Responsibilities - Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and rotation of inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and minimizing waste.
- Supply Chain Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent service and quality.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Financial Management: Manage kitchen budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation to drive business growth.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of business strategies, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a managing capacity and 4 years or more in a quality-driven, high-volume kitchen.
- Skills: Basic computer competency, experience with inventory management systems, and strong communication and leadership skills.
