About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Community Finance team, originating debt and equity to support affordable housing development. As a Senior Manager, Community Finance - Capital Officer, you will be responsible for managing relationships with developers and other industry stakeholders, marketing our products, understanding the competitive landscape and market needs, identifying opportunities that align with Capital One's overall strategy, and elevating market intelligence to key partners in External Affairs and across the company.Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and industry stakeholders
- Share market intelligence with peers across the company to deepen our shared understanding, promote collaboration, and maximize impact
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish business goals, plan portfolio growth, manage new and existing relationships, and perform proper pre-qualification, structuring, and pricing of debt and proprietary investments
- Manage risk, support new business initiatives, and continuously well-managed processes
- Adopt an enterprise mindset in strategy development and implementation, considering both the internal and external landscape
- Proactively embrace and lead through change, with candor and optimism; evolve to meet new and emerging opportunities and challenges
- Innovate and find efficiencies in the application of data and technology to support business opportunities

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 7 years of experience in client management, business development, financial services, or any combination of the three
- At least 3 years of experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC)
- At least 2 years of experience in lending, investments, community development lending, community development investments, or any combination of the fourPreferred Qualifications:
