Our Mental Health Clinic seeks a full time LCSW or NYS Licensed Psychologist, for the Behavioral Health Clinic Program Director position. QUALIFICATIONS: - - - - - - - - - - - LCSW or NYS Licensed Psychologist, - - - - - - - - - Minimum five years progressively responsible experience in OMH licensed Article 31 Section 599 MHOTRS mental health services as well as staff supervision - - - - - - - - - Excellent communication and leadership skills - - - - - - - - - Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavioral health care - - - - - - - - - Familiarity with electronic health records systems as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams - - - - - - - - - Previous experience with serving individuals with physical disabilities (including vision disorders) and/or chronic health needs a plus. - REPORTS TO: Director of Health Services Supervises and monitors the effectiveness and delivery of services and performance of the clinicians providing mental health services - - - 2. Ensures adequate coverage and continuity of patient care - - - 3. Ensures the clinic meets annual productivity budget - - - 4. - Coordinates and manages intake processes - - - 5. Monitors service delivery to ensure staff consistency with the goals, objectives and interventions delineated in the patient care plan and documentation in the - - - - - - - - electronic health records - - - 6. Assists in development of goals and benchmarks for mental health services, conduct chart reviews, identify opportunities for improvement, and monitor quality improvement activities - - - -7. Ensures clinic operations adhere to OMH regulations and Medicaid/Medicare/third party billing requirements - - - -8. Manages special projects as assigned - - - -9. Maintains and enforces established agency and departmental policies, procedures and objectives and disseminates pertinent information to appropriate staff - - - 10. Maintains statistics, records and reports, analyzes trends - - - 11. Confers with and keeps health services director informed of activities, needs and problems concerning program planning, service delivery and overall operations - - - 12.
