We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Estimator to contribute to our continued success by providing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects.Description Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects. Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine scope of work. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates. Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier quotes. Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and project budgets. Participate in site visits to gather information and assess project conditions. Maintain and update cost databases and estimation software. Monitor industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates. Assist in post-bid evaluations and project handoff to the project management team.Profile Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating, specifically in commercial projects. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods. Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Job Offer |
