Brook Farm Veterinary Center is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team in the Hudson Valley. Our practice is committed to providing the highest quality of care to our clients and patients, and we are looking for a compassionate individual who shares our passion for animal health. Job Expectations: Perform anesthesia monitoring during surgical procedures Utilize preventive care techniques to ensure the well-being of our patients Administer IV catheterization and assist with dental prophylaxis Be Fear Free Certified to provide a stress-free environment for animals Handle animal care responsibilities with compassion and professionalism Assist with catheterization, anesthesia, ultrasound, and discharge planning Participate in surgical procedures, critical care, and medication administration Conduct venipuncture, lab work, triage, X-rays, and wellness checks Monitor vital signs and provide exceptional patient care Desired Qualifications AA degree or BA/BS degree from AVMA-accredited veterinary technician program. Veterinary Technician license in good standing. Any suitable combination of experience or education may substitute for the above at our discretion.
