Our Ambulatory Surgery Unit is seeking a full-time Clinical Nurse IV to provide preop care and recovery support for ambulatory procedures. We operate under a team-based approach and have evening shifts available from 1pm to 9:30pm. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and procedures, and document treatment
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
• Assess patient needs and care responses
• Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
• Administer medications and participate in patient/family teaching
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for patients
• Provide guidance to ancillary personnel and maintain professional nursing standards Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a professional nursing program
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills
