Job Description:

• Provide direct patient care in critical care areas such as Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, Coronary Care Unit, and Cardiovascular ICU
• Administer medications, perform treatments, procedures, and document treatment per policy and regulations
• Assess patient needs and responses to care; apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
• Obtain and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree)
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
