This team is responsible for all of the core Figma features related to editing and design systems, as well as shaping the core editor functionality that other products use as a foundation. We are looking for a visionary leader who can elevate the capabilities of the Editor for the Design community, while also refining the tool and making it simpler and more accessible. In this role you will be uniquely positioned to advance the state of the art for how UX design works across industry-leading software companies.What you'll do at Figma: - Lead a team of world-class Managers and PMs that cover virtually all aspects of the Figma Editor, including general editor UI, text, vectors, layout, components, styles, variables, and more.
- Partner with Design and Engineering leads to build the vision for the future of the Editor, and define the roadmap and strategy for execution.
- Elevate the Product organization's operations to accelerate decision-making and execution.
- Coach and develop PMs and managers across the organization.
- Represent Figma in the Design community and our growing user base.We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 8+ years of experience leading Product teams.
- Domain experience collaborating with Designers.
- Experience working on products with significant technical complexity.
- Experience driving strategy for products with broad needs that affect a large number of other teams.While not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
