Who You Are:

• A technically skilled individual with a background in construction, manufacturing, or a related field
• Hands-on experience working with mechanical or electrical systems in a lab, workshop, or industrial environment

• Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to the advancement of sustainable technologies -What You Will Do:
  -As an R&D Technician, you will play an essential role in supporting the research and development of Sperra's 3D concrete printing technologies. You will work closely with the R&D team, assisting with equipment setup, operation, and maintenance at our Bergen, NY facility. You will also contribute to the development of new printing methods and assist in data collection and analysis. -Primary responsibilities:
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 3D concrete printing system and other mechanical equipment
  • Assist in setting up experiments, including material preparation and equipment calibration
  • Carry out hands-on fabrication and assembly of manufacturing equipment and prototypes -
  • Monitor and record data during tests and experiments
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
  • Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and protocols
  • Assist with inventory management, material sourcing, and procurement of supplies
  • Contribute to project documentation and reporting
  • Other duties as assigned -Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
    • Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field)
    • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in an industrial, lab, or manufacturing setting
    • Familiarity with 3D printing, CNC machining, or other additive manufacturing processes
    • Experience with mechanical tools and equipment (e.g., power tools, machine shop tools)
    • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
    • Ability to follow technical instructions and work independently when required
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills -Preferred:
      • Experience with concrete or construction materials
      • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)

        • Annual salary of $60,000 to $95,000
