TravelNurseSource is working with Cogent Workforce Solutions Inc to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Batavia, New York, 14020 Pay Information $2,340 to $2,520 per week About The Position Local Pay: $65/hr -- Traveler Pay: $70/hr -- Contract: 13 Weeks -- Shift: 6am - 6pm Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for holiday coverage at our facility in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on minimizing requests for time off (RTO) during the holiday season. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans. Monitor and manage patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care and treatment plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor---s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate---s degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted. Licensure: Current and valid RN license in New York State. Certification: BLS through American Heart Association (AHA). Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience. Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
