<span> <br>Job Title: Software Test Engineer, Syracuse, New York<br> <br>Are you a Software Test Engineer seeking a new challenge?<br> <br>Do you have experience working on Agile projects?<br> <br>We are seeking a talented full-time Software Test Engineer for a position based here in Syracuse, New York.<br> <br>Responsibilities:<br> <br>•Deliver on time, on budget, and on scope<br>•Attend requirements/specifications and design reviews; lay out test approach and test strategy to ensure that overall quality is delivered.<br>•Track project execution to ensure goals are being met; <br>•Report status in a clear, concise, detail oriented manner<br>•Investigate and report any defects encountered diligently, promptly and accurately using a defect-tracking tool.<br>•Communicate with project, development and business teams where necessary.<br>•Escalate quality concerns to QA management.<br>•Participate with the QA team in setting the quality standards<br> <br>Requirements: <br>•5 to 8+ years of software testing/programming/business analysis/information technology experience<br>•BA/BS/BE from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience<br>•Experience in the Insurance and Financial industry preferred<br>•Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.<br>•Ability to work independently or within a team environment.<br>•Ability to work and learn in a rapidly changing environment.<br>•Ability to express and organize thoughts, ideas and information in a logical and understandable manner both written and oral in relation to issues that fall within their scope of responsibility.<br>•Ability to communicate effectively with business and technology personnel.<br>•Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, define problems, and develop a means or method to resolve them.<br>•Ability to understand business process and work flows.<br>•Ability to identify testable statements contained in requirements and specification documents, and devise and run appropriate tests.<br>•Experience with Quality Center is a plus<br>•Experience working in an onshore/offshore testing model desirable<br>•Experience with Agile delivery concepts a plus<br>•Experience with test automation (QTP, Cucumber) a plus <br> <br>Apply today for this exciting Software Test Engineer job or call Susan Duenkel at 315-233-4067 for more details.<br> <br></span> More...
