We have an immediate need for a Electrical Engineer for our New York City Office in lower Manhattan. Come join our team! (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Coordination with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical service
• Electrical system analysis and calculations
• Design of electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to load
• Design of fire alarm systems and low voltage systems
• Service room layout, utility conduit coordination, grounding and lighting protection
• Prepare design narrative and feasibility reports
• Electrical & fire alarm field surveys, inspections, and punch lists
• Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10 years of relevant design experience
  • PE License in New York required.
  • Able to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task on several projects at once
