EOEPosition Information:
The Respiratory Care Assistant (RCA) is enrolled in a recognized Respiratory Care Program that have been approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care. -Respiratory Care Assistant will work under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner (RCP). -The RCA will be competent and perform the following respiratory care procedures: -oxygen supply systems equipment processing manual resuscitation oxygen administration humidity and aerosol therapy small volume nebulizer therapy MDI administration incentive spirometry non-invasive mechanical airway clearance therapy chest physiotherapy with suctioning arterial puncture electrocardiogram (if performed by hiring institute) and patient reporting.Experience Requirements:
Training Clinical - Respiratory Therapy RequiredEducation Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent -Required - And College Courses Respiratory Therapy RequiredLicensure/Certification Requirements:
