- 401 K with Company Match Summary:The Purchasing Administrator will be an integral part of a fast-paced, high-volume Purchasing Team. They will be interacting directly with internal customers and supporting the purchasing team. This person should have strong clerical skills, data entry, the ability to communicate effectively along with excellent customer service. The Purchasing Administrator must be able to excel in a team environment, contribute to the success of the team and project a positive attitude and project a professional image. Purchasing Administrator Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to Purchasing Team.
- Filling in spreadsheets with required ship dates, confirmation dates, and purchasing information.
- Manipulating data and formulas in spreadsheets
- Data Entry into ERP system
- Issue purchase orders for some items
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Follow all company policies including safety guidelines.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform additional administrative duties as directed by Purchasing Manager
- Notify Purchasing Manager of any potential problems Purchasing Administrator Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:
- HS diploma /GED.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) proficiency.
- Quick learner
- Must have strong organizational and prioritization skills as they are core elements of this position.
- ERP experience (Epicor) a plus.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work well within team as well as be
- proactive in responsibilities.
- Effective communication skills.
