Our company's measurable growth is in no small part due to our team members in North Carolina, Arkansas, Illinois, and Missouri, who each have a seat at the table to contribute to our success The Production Superintendent oversees all aspects of the First Processing Process and ensures that all product is processed according to Butterball procedures, schedules and customer specifications. - This position ensures that Butterball's core values such as Safety, Food Safety and Cost Reduction projects are accomplished. - In addition, the Superintendent controls all aspects of labor, quality expectations, and management of machine operations. Trains, directs, and supports the Further Processing Production Supervisors to achieve company goals - Ensures all resources are available to produce quality products in a timely, safe, and efficient manner with a high expectation in quality
- Directs daily production processes to ensure that orders are completed according to the instructions given by the company scheduler and/or plant manager in a safe and efficient manner
- Communicates and implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Monitors production reporting for accuracy and timeliness
- Implements company standards and programs to achieve a safe and productive work environment
- Directs HACCP plan to achieve USDA requirements and guides in bird related issues
- Tracks and documents KPI's
-Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - - Familiarity with applicable government regulations including but not limited to GMP's, HACCP, and USDA regulations
- Knowledge of BRC practices and standards through company and departmental training and understanding
- Have basic computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills, ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of involving and leading Supervisors and Associates in a team-based manner -
