As the Director of Program Management, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that GXO's AmAPAC (Americas and APAC) Division's hiring practices and employee-related policies are fair, inclusive, and promote diversity, benefiting all employees and the organization as a whole, ensuring a bright future for yourself and GXO. What you'll do on a typical day: - Lead as an advocate of the Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) organization representing the services, support and resources available to the business and help manage AmAPAC Division's reputation.
- Under the guidance of the head of the DIB Center of Excellence (COE), collaborate with leaders to integrate DIB principles into all aspects of AmAPAC's operations, policies, and practices.
- Advocate for equitable policies to ensure they align with diversity goals and promote a sense of belonging.
- Engage and manage vendors to design and deliver best in class DIB educational materials and experiences.
- Design, develop and communicate an innovative DIB education strategy to build inclusive leaders, key talent, and employees, enhancing their ability to deliver expected business outcomes.
- Analyze metrics, research, identify trends, and gaps to assess the effectiveness of the DIB organization, recommend improvements, and develop new initiatives.
- Partner with other COEs to proactively contribute to the creation, development and roll-out of global programming to meet current and future state DIB functional needs.
- Enhance the employee experience by fostering an inclusive environment by promoting diversity awareness, cultural competence, and equity.
- Build deep understanding of how processes and systems currently work within the operation, and drive changes needed to embed inclusion into the day-to-day practices related to attracting, retaining, and engaging a diverse workforce.
- Shape, identify, capture, and manage strategic opportunities that support the DIB organizations' strategies.
- Partner with AmAPAC's Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development organizations to develop recruiting and educational strategies focused on Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action.
- Partner with the HR leadership team to model and foster an environment where every employee is engaged and inspired to contribute their best. What you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in higher education, sociology, social work, psychology or another related field
- 7 years of program/project management experience
- Knowledge and experience in leading Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse workforce and provide leadership in organizational change through influence, collaboration, and partnership
- Ability to perform in a constantly evolving and ambiguous environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience presenting clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
