<span>Java Development Engineer Role Contract Job in Raleigh NC<br>&nbsp;<br>Our client a leader in networking hardware and software solutions has an immediate contract opening for a Java Development Engineer. <br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>Required <br>&bull; 4-5+ years of recent Java web development experience <br>&bull; Experience building apps with Spring, Hibernate, and Tomcat <br>&bull; Experience creating RESTful webservices <br>&bull; Experience making web pages using HTML/CSS/Javascript and RESTful backend services <br>&bull; Experience with SCM using various Git workflows (forking, gitflow, etc.) <br>&bull; Experience using continuous build software (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.) <br>&bull; Experience with SQL-based databases <br>&bull; Experience developing with basic IoC patterns <br>&bull; Fluency in Unix/Linux operating systems and Bash <br>&bull; Basic understanding of networking <br>&bull; Can identify basic scalability pitfalls <br>&bull; Learns new things quickly <br>&bull; Knows how to deal with non-standard versions of standard tools <br>&nbsp;<br>Desired <br>&bull; Experience building a SPA with AngularJS and Bootstrap <br>&bull; Experience with Spring MVC/Spring Data JPA <br>&bull; Experience at running a Jenkins, Artifactory, or SonarQube server <br>&bull; Experience using or running OpenStack <br>&bull; Has a Github account and contributes to open-source projects<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>To be considered, you must apply online now and submit your resume.
