Degree requirement may be off-set by additional relevant experience <br>• Experienced in business, process, performance, and architecture (Lean, Six-Sigma, ISO or BPM) <br>• Operational risk management, supply chain, and vendor risk and performance management experience <br>• Project Management certification <br>• 5-7+ years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in a large complex organization with responsibilities across multiple businesses and geographies <br> <br>Position Description <br>The GVBPS Lead is a key member of the GVBPS organization reporting to a Regional or Global Head and supports the efficient and effective execution of key initiatives and strategic priorities. This candidate will support the coordination and alignment of risk and performance management strategies with business objectives as well as directing day-to-day operations of risk and performance management activities within scope. He or she will be part of a team charged with managing vendor and business partner risk identification, evaluation, monitoring, testing, remediation and reporting. He/she will be responsible for designing and implementing vendor and business partner performance scorecard with standardized metrics that are aligned with category strategies. This candidate will support the timely and effective communication to key stake holders, customers and other team members. <br> <br>Responsibilities <br>Region/Function Specifications: <br>• Support the development and implementation of strategies for vendor risk and performance management initiatives that focus on the risk-based sourcing and vendor selection, relationship management, performance analytics and on-going risk & compliance monitoring. <br>• Lead vendor and business partner performance management scorecard design, development and implementation including establishing category-based performance metrics, developing process and procedure, and implementing supporting technology platform to ensure a timely performance assessment for continuing compliance with AIG policies and contractual SLA. <br>• Oversee the operation and effectiveness of controls, governance and performance management implemented by business units relevant to Standards prescribed by the AIG’s vendor and business partner management policies and standards. <br>• Monitor ongoing global vendor and business risk and performance against business and compliance requirements; provide regular (monthly) metrics reports and updates including KRI/ KPI dashboard, global vendor and business partner inventory. <br>- Monitor and track global vendor and business control issues and facilitate escalation where appropriate for resolution. <br>• Provide input on policy and process standardization. Identify opportunities for continuous process and platform improvement. <br>• Support partnerships with business stakeholders to deliver tangible and sustainable value; monitor and manage relationships with vendor and business partner at aggregated level. <br>• Develop executive communications - meeting presentations, multimedia, key messages, talking points and executive perspectives.
