  • Job Summary: Travel CST/ORT position at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

  • Unit staffing description: RNs, support from CNC, secretary, Manager, etc. shared with CVOR

  • Documentation system: Cerner
  • Procedures performed on unit: large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment, assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement. Transport patient to OR; assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep.
    Job Requirements
    • Critical Care experience a must
    • PreOp experience a plus
    • Must have good critical thinking skills
    • Requested Skill Set: BCMA, excellent documentation, ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area, excellent communication skills with interdepartmental team.
      Schedule Information
      • Scheduling requirements: M-F 0500-1330
      • On Call Requirements: Stay late 1-2/week
      • Floating policy: Within scope of practice and experience.
