A company is looking for a RN - Chart Auditor.



Key Responsibilities

Conduct MS-DRG and APR-DRG coding reviews to verify accuracy of DRG assignment and identify overpayments
Apply expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS code assignment and CMS requirements for accurate coding
Perform clinical coding reviews to ensure accuracy and utilize clinical expertise for correct coding and billing


Required Qualifications

Unrestricted RN (registered nurse) license
CCS/CIC certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
3+ years of MS DRG/APR DRG coding experience in a hospital environment
Expert knowledge of ICD-10 Official Coding Guidelines and DRG reimbursement methodologies
Proficiency in principal diagnosis selection, CCs, MCCs, and conditions impacting severity of illness and risk of mortality More...
