<span>Modis has an immediate job opening for a Sr. Linux Systems Engineer with one of our premier clients in Charlotte, NC. &nbsp;The selected candidate will act as a design resource that deploys complex infrastructure solutions. &nbsp;This is in an opportunity to be responsible for design, testing and implementation of technical infrastructure including network, computers, database, storage, cloud, mobility or infrastructure applications. &nbsp;If you would like to work with one of the most recognizable brands in the US, then this job could be for you.<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Primary Responsibilities:</B><br><ul>

<li>Analyze and translate conceptual architecture into a supportable solution including design of very complex projects/systems and methodologies </li><li>Collaborate with Architecture and IT Risk teams to assist in the creation of infrastructure standards </li><li>Collaborate with Architecture team and Engineering peers in terms of platform / infrastructure selection as well as their successful implementation</li><li>Provide hand-off assistance to operational teams as new solutions are transitioned into production &ndash; this includes knowledge transfer, support and design documentation. This is to be done in lockstep with an operations resource as new systems are moved through the go-live phase</li><li>Involved with production support when needed and quickly produce solution(s) to problems, to meet the application and infrastructure SLA&rsquo;s</li><li>Translate conceptual design into a technical architecture and associated implementation plans</li><li>Analyze the current technology environment to identify critical deficiencies and recommend approaches to effectively address issues</li><li>Consult on projects to identify opportunities to decrease overall cost and increase reliability/flexibility/maintainability of solutions </li></ul>
