S&ME's marketing team is creative, hard-working, and dynamic. We are searching for a driven problem-solver to join the team as a Creative Design Specialist. While you elevate the quality of our marketing materials, we'll help you grow professionally within a team that is charting a new course for marketing and communications at our company.


This position can be based out of one S&ME office location within our footprint, working closely with marketing and communications team leadership, with the opportunity to thrive in a flexible, hybrid work environment.


What You Will Do:
As a Creative Design Specialist, your graphic design skills and dedication to our brand standards will further our external presence in the geotechnical, environmental, civil, and construction engineering spaces. You will work with an energetic team of marketing and communications professionals, business development leaders, project managers, and subject matter experts to support companywide sales and marketing efforts through the creation of digital and printed designs and messaging for qualifications packages, proposals, presentations, and a variety of supporting collateral.

• Design and Formatting Support: Assist in the creation and formatting of marketing materials, including proposals, qualification packages, brochures, and presentations.
  
• Quality Control and Brand Standards: Ensure all creative design deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to brand guidelines. Serve as a voice for brand standards within the marketing team, coach and train pursuit specialists in design best practices when needed.
  
• Creation of Standard Design Assets: Develop companywide design assets and templates that cater to business needs and allow for easy content customization.
  
• Digital Media Deliverables: Produce digital media content such as LinkedIn ads and other online marketing materials.
  
• Content Management: Maintain and organize various content types, including videos, photography, infographics, and ads, within the marketing resources library and digital asset management platforms. Improve functionality of companywide marketing resources found on the intranet site and other internal platforms.
  
• Vendor Management and Communications Support: Support outsourcing of print/digital production and partnerships with vendors. Assist with material design for events, employee engagement, strategic projects, and industry conferences.
  
  
  
  Who You Are:
  
  
  You have 0-5 years of related work experience; A/E/C industry, a plus
  You have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field of study, a plus
  You have expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  
  • You have a working knowledge of Office365 applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
    
  • You have experience with Open Asset, a plus
    
  • You have exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, and you can manage multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing business priorities.
    
  • You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, working well within a team, taking direction from colleagues, as well as working independently.
