TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401 Pay Information $2,089 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical & Telemetry Float Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 3 years, with traveler experience required. Unit will not accept first-time travelers. License: NC or Compact license required at the time of start Certifications: BLS required. ACLS and Telemetry preferred. Must-Have: - 1 year of Med/Surg experience. - Must pass EKG testing prior to start. - Comfortable floating based on job description with no restrictions or special requests. Job Description: - Work with the Centralized Resource Nursing Pool, floating between several campuses. - Majority of shifts will be at the main campus but may also be scheduled at other facilities. - Notified 2 hours before the shift for float assignments. - Required to work every other weekend. - Assigned to care for patients across medical, surgical, and telemetry units. - Care for patients held in the ED who are inpatient. - May work with COVID patients and during increased census times; ratios might be higher. - Assigned to Storm and/or Hurricane Teams; require reporting during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. - Proficiency in using PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR systems required. - Flexible scheduling based on staffing needs. - Orientation includes 24 hours (2 shifts). - Standard scrub color: Navy. - Must complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation modules. - Annual completion of modules required, amount varying by specialty. 26792812EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS MS Tele Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
