Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00, with every other weekend rotation Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in CVICU License: Current RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS (CCRN preferred) Must-Have: - Strong critical thinking skills - 1 year of CVICU experience after completion of orientation Job Description: - Position is for a Replacement of Permanent Staff - Work in a facility with a 32-bed emergency department, 29-bed inpatient rehabilitation, and 15-bed surgical suite & imaging - Handle a patient ratio of 2:1 with occasional 1:1 in an 8-bed unit - Utilize equipment such as Impella, IABP, and CRRT - Use Cerner for Electronic Health Records (EHR) - Care for adult and geriatric patient populations, with exposure to CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid treatments - No on-call requirements - Participate in orientation held twice monthly Dress Code: - Professional scrubs in any color This role is ideal for candidates who live 60 miles or more from the facility location and have experience with complex cardiovascular procedures.
