TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Hickory, North Carolina, 28601 Pay Information $1,912 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intermediate Medical Care Unit (Step Down for MICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 18:45-07:15 Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly Experience: 1-2 years minimum; 4 years preferred License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS/ACLS Must-Have: Experience with step-down level patients, understanding of charting and interventions related to high reliability care, support for team efforts in continuous improvement. Job Description: - Join a 12-bed Intermediate Medical Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 - Work with equipment including BiPAP, chest tubes, high flow O2, and tracheostomies - Utilize Cerner electronic health records - Serve an adult patient population with common diagnoses such as sepsis and severe chronic pulmonary issues - Float to other inpatient units as appropriate for skill level and before core staff - Participate in orientation twice monthly - Be flexible with scheduling, including alternating weekend shifts and holiday coverage - Collaborate with a team to provide excellent patient care - Identify early signs of changes in patient condition - Display a willingness to work as part of a team and maintain excellent attendance - Exhibit problem-solving skills, remain calm and upbeat in difficult situations, and elevate issues as needed - Wear attire of choice, maintaining a professional appearance Note: The position is a replacement for a previous contractor. 26740459EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
