Job Title: Technical Product Manager Location: Remote Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager to lead the development of our products, particularly those with a strong technical foundation. In this role, you will bridge the gap between engineering and business teams, ensuring the successful execution of the product roadmap, from ideation through development to delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Product Strategy and Roadmap Development:
- Define the product vision, roadmap, and strategy in collaboration with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Prioritize product features, improvements, and bug fixes based on business goals, technical feasibility, and customer feedback.
- Own and drive the product lifecycle from concept through launch and iteration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with engineering teams to define technical specifications, requirements, and constraints for the product.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical deliverables.
- Act as the main point of contact between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
- Collaborate with design, UX/UI teams to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Product Development:
- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and manage the backlog to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Conduct sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with engineering teams to ensure smooth development cycles.
- Identify and resolve technical and operational roadblocks in product development.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Use analytics, user feedback, and A/B testing to guide product decisions and improve the user experience.
- Track key product performance metrics and iterate on the product as needed.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and work with engineering to resolve any issues that arise.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance to the product team regarding technical constraints, opportunities, and industry trends.
- Help technical teams navigate challenges while balancing the need for business objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate product plans, status updates, and product insights to stakeholders, including executives and customers.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and product development.
Qualifications: - Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, ideally in a technical product or software environment.
- Proven experience working closely with engineering teams, especially in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, technologies, and technical architecture.
- Experience in managing technical roadmaps and balancing trade-offs between technical constraints and business goals.
