• Employment Type: TravelRN IMCU (7P -7A)Position Information: --- Facility Department/Cost Center: 6360 --- Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN --- Specialty: Intermediate Medical Care Unit (step down for MICU) --- Number of Openings: 2 --- Shift: Nights, 1 --- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 --- Weekend Hours: alternating, (6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule) --- Call Requirements: no on call --- Required Certifications: BLS/ACLS --- Years of Experience: 4 --- Float Requirements: will float to other inpatient units as appropriate for skill level. Will float before core staff --- Additional Notes: Will be expected to cover most holidays. No holidays off first contract Unit Information: --- Number of Beds: 12 --- Patient Ratios: 4:1 --- Equipment: bipap, chest tubes, high flow O2, trachs, --- EHR: Cerner --- Patient Population e.g. "geriatric, adult, peds, etc.": adult Hiring Profile: --- Must Have Skills/Experience: experienced in step down level patients, understands charting and interventions as it relates to high reliability care, will support team efforts to continuous improvement --- Preferred Skillset/Experience: can identify early signs of a change in patient condition, experience with Cerner, --- Common Diagnosis/Treatment: sepsis, severe chronic pulmonary issues, complex diagnoses --- Personality Fit: willingness to work as a team, excellent attendance, be a problem solver not a finger pointer, upbeat and calm in difficult situations, willing to elevate issues as identified --- Required Education: Minimum ADNGSD Search Job ID #894498.
