  Job Details
  • General job duties.
  • Types of procedures required.
  • Perform inpatient and outpatient transthoracic echocardiograms for both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Occasional stress echocardiograms and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms.
  • Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.: Machines: Philips Epiqs, Affinity's and IE33's. GE E95 and Vived E9. Reporting systems: Epiq Cupid - reporting, Sectra - Cardiology PACS.
    Job Requirements
    • Graduate of accredited program with at least three years of experience.
    • BLS - must be American Heart Association certified.
    • RDCS or RCS certification required.
    • NDMIRT (if does not have it, then willing to get).
    • Min 3 years experience.
      Schedule Information
      • Mostly clinic and hospital shifts ranging from start times of 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.
      • Staffed/call one weekend/month along with another staff member.
      • Call one day every other week.
      • Will work alone only after hours if called in.
        Unit Specific Information
        • Staffed at two separate campuses.
        • Would rotate between the two campuses, never changing within the same day.
        • Would start with clinic for orientation to learn protocol and expectations, then move to the hospital for way-finding. This process should take no longer than two weeks.
