Job Details:Our client is looking to add a skilled VP of Financial Due Diligence to its growing team; our client is a boutique Investment Bank with locations in Cleveland, OH, Irvine, CA, Grand Rapids, MI, and Plano, TX. As our client's platform grows, they are looking to build out a specialized Financial Due Diligence team as a part of its greater Financial Advisory team. • Execute Financial Due Diligence projects as part of our client's greater Financial Advisory Team.
• Serve as a client-facing lead, maintaining client relations.
• Monitor the status of active due diligence projects, tracking from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and client commitments are met.
• Serve as subject matter expert for the due diligence team through training, guidance, and technical support.
• Analyze target company data for working capital considerations and potential liabilities and risks that impact valuation.
• Develop quality of earnings analysis through the assessment of the quality and sustainability of the target company's reported adjusted earnings.
• Identify key risks, assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the client's investment strategy.
• Prepare client deliverables, including all aspects of due diligence.Criteria:
  • Prior experience with Financial Due Diligence is a must.
  • 7+ years of experience in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Advisory, or Audit.
  • Insurance industry experience is a bonus, but not required.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; Master's degree or CPA is a plus.
  • Open to travel: up to 20% of the time.Compensation:Base Salary: $120,000 - $160,000Discretionary Bonus: 10% - 30%
