Corrigan Krause is looking for an Estate, Gift and Trust Tax Professional to join our expanding Tax Department in the EGT Niche. The Tax Professional would work in the individual and trust tax planning area, providing administrative support to our EGT Niche Director and assisting in the preparation of tax returns.

Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Collect and organize client data and supporting documentation necessary for proper tax return preparation
Assist in preparing individual and trust tax returns, including estate, gift and trust income tax returns (Forms 706, 709, 1041, etc.)
Maintain accurate and organized files, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive client information
Manage multiple engagements with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and leveraging opportunities for tax savings
Advise clients on minimizing tax liabilities through proper estate, gift, and trust planning
Requirements:
2+ years of work experience in an administrative support role
Experience with tax/accounting software preferred
Paralegal training or or Associates degree in accounting or finance preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.) required
Tax preparation experience highly preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong ability to provide client services and manage multiple engagements, while providing analytical and problem-solving skills
