Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLocation: Newark, OHWork Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 5/6 PM. Overtime available. Some Saturdays may be required. - Job stability and opportunity for advancement in a growing company!Job Summary:A Directional Drill Operator is responsible for safely creating underground bores to facilitate the trenchless installation of underground infrastructure. Role Responsibilities:

- Operate Ditch Witch directional drilling equipment to bore underground pathways for utilities
- Ensure equipment is properly set up and calibrated before each operation
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan drilling routes and issues
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities and ensure efficient operations
- Ability to identify necessary tasks needed based on direction given from Field Leadership
- Perform pre and post inspections and daily maintenance on equipment
- Willingness to perform non-operating tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized job site free from unnecessary hazards
- Perform Driver's Vehicle Inspections and cleaning on vehicles and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership Requirements:
- Ability to be a team player with a can-do attitude
- Experience operating a Directional Drill
- Ability to use independent judgment and be self-motivating
- Able to continuously lift and carrying objects 40+ pounds
- Withstand the climate year-round
- Insurable Driver's License
- Pass DOT drug-testing & DOT physical
- Pass criminal background check
- Ability to adhere to safety expectations set by OSHA and client/company standards
- Ability to complete computer-based and hands-on training once hired
- Willingness to travel out of town if necessary Preferred Requirements:
