<span>Position: &nbsp;SharePoint Engineer Job in Cleveland, Ohio<br>Location: Cleveland, OH<br>Duration: Direct Hire<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>Modis, a leader in the staffing industry, is working with a client in the Downtown Cleveland area who is seeking a senior level SharePoint Engineer to join their prestigious organization in a highly visible position. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>Responsibilities:<br>&nbsp;<br>&bull; Works as a senior member of a collaborative team responsible for business analysis, planning, designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, supporting, and documenting SharePoint related packaged solutions and/or custom developed software<br>&bull; Provides thought leadership on emerging technologies; works with Client Management to help establish product portfolios, multi-year product roadmaps and program strategies; assists with preparation of realistic budgets, timelines, and deliverables<br>&bull; Provides technical leadership to Client personnel on assigned platforms and collaborates with peers in to create, administer, and optimize SharePoint related solutions; mentors fellow team members through advice, coaching, and collaboration<br>&bull; Works effectively on cross-functional teams; provides accurate time and cost estimates on assigned work; provides technical leadership on projects of varying sizes<br>&bull; Manages multiple and competing priorities and assignments as required in a dynamic environment<br>&bull; Evaluates alternatives for deploying, patching, and supporting SharePoint related solutions &nbsp;in a managed environment and actively suggests changes that will enhance user experience<br>&bull; Interfaces with vendors and acts as primary point of contact for SharePoint platform; communicates functional and technical application requirements; manages vendor deliverables; implements purchased software packages; communicates bugs and required enhancements; maintains knowledge of product roadmap<br>&bull; Provides third level support to diagnose SharePoint related issues and perform root cause analysis; collaborates with first and second level support, QA, vendors, and other TSS teams on production system problems; communicates interim workarounds<br>REQUIRED SKILLS: <br>Advanced level experience in SharePoint administration, including &nbsp;but not limited to security administration, assessing/applying patches, server monitoring, evaluating event/ULS logs, monitoring application health through SharePoint Central Administration, backups/restores, and utilizing PowerShell scripting/reporting to gather information or make changes to the SharePoint environment &nbsp;<br>&bull; Advanced skills in SharePoint related technologies, toolsets, and methodologies, including:<br>&bull; SQL Server Database &bull; Windows Desktop OS <br>&bull; Transact SQL &bull; Microsoft Office<br>&bull; IIS<br>&bull; Active Directory<br>&bull; Forefront Identify Manager<br>&bull; PowerShell Scripting &bull; Web Services<br>&bull; Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server<br>&nbsp;<br>To be considered for the Senior SharePoint Engineer job in Cleveland, OH, you must apply online now and submit your resume at: (Email Address Withheld by Request)<br>http://www.modis.com<br>&nbsp;<br></span> More...
