WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO AS AN ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER AT SIGMA: Core Description: Assists Project Manager in planning and executing projects from planning through delivery. Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated. Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project milestones and deadlines. Monitor task completion status to identify at-risk projects and communicate with Project Managers. Essential Job Functions: - Assists Project Manager with managing the entire life cycle of a function(s), project(s), program, and/or customer, from set-up through execution to close-out
- Liaising with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects
- Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables
- Analyzing data as required
- Prepares agendas, and meeting notes, drafting invoices, drawing estimates, and project summaries.
- Monitors task completion status to identify at-risk project tasks and reports project progress.
- Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner
- Other duties as assigned. Requirements General Requirements - Education : HS Diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience : 3+ years of demonstrated experience in the Power Utility industry (Distribution); management may consider other education and/or work experience to be acceptable for appointment to this position.
- Available during the core work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday-Friday; occasional evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand.
- Willing and able to travel as needed, including overnight travel
- Dependable transportation and valid driver's license and insurance
- Able to pass a background check/drug test/driving record check
- Authorized to work in the United States Physical Requirements:
