Certification Details
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM, Tech Cert Verification - National, HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement, State License 1 Verification, NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP), and NIH Stroke Certification are required for specific departments or based on facility needs.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute required for Emergency Dept only.
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam within 2 years of start.
• Color Blind Testing Online required for lab units only.
  Job Details
  • Miami Valley Hospital is looking for a MRI tech that is interested in 3 or 4x12s, Friday- Sunday 6:30p-7:00a
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a large hospital; level 1 preferred will accept level 2 experience.
  • Travel experience preferred.
  • - Must have GE equipment experience
  • Independently performs diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media.
  • Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.
  • Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Radiology Department.
  • Exercises professional judgment in performing duties to maintain equipment in good working condition.
  • May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on-call responsibilities.
    Job Requirements
    • Associate degree in Allied Health with an area of study or major: Radiologic Technology
    • BLS is required through AHA and, ARRT, ODH certification.
    • Will be fitted for N95 before working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.
      Schedule Information
      • 3 or 4x12s, Friday- Sunday 6:30p-7:00a
      • Traveler must be available to work every other holiday.
      • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 3 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract/2 shifts for an 8-week contract.
      • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel the agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine.
        Additional Details
        • Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.
        • I9, Drivers License/State ID, E-Verify, and Proof of Name Change documents are required based on facility/accounting document needs.
        • Government Issued Photo ID is required.
