The Engineering Technologist will--provide support production on technical issues and assist with new product development. -- In addition to competitive pay, Lincoln Electric offers a lucrative profit-sharing plan, student loan repayment program PLUS tuition reimbursement, medical/dental/vision, paid time off and many more outstanding benefits!-- What You Will Do -- - The Engineering Technologist will provide technical support to engineers in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development.
- Develop and recommend procedures and methods and prepares technical reports and documentation.
- Perform technical evaluations of events to determine root cause; recommends corrective actions.
- Utilize schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems.
- Gather, maintains, formats, compiles and manipulates technical data using established formulae and procedures and performs detailed mathematical calculations.
- Operate basic lab equipment including meters, oscilloscopes, temperature recorders, etc. (Training provided as needed).
- On an as needed basis, train, assist and observe other department personnel (as qualified) on the department equipment and/or process for improvements such as but not limited to safety, quality, ISO 14001 & 45001 and manufacturing proficiency/efficiency.
