About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Assistant School Age Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the lead teacher in creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for school-aged children. You will work closely with the lead teacher to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children in the program. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining open communication with parents and families, as well as participating in ongoing professional development opportunities.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent 6+ months experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable settingAbility to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background CheckPreferred Qualifications:1+ year experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable settingSome completion of college-level coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related fieldCPL II or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hire (CDA sponsorship available)Valid OH Driver's LicenseResponsibilities:Assist the lead teacher in creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for school-aged childrenEnsure a safe and nurturing environment for all children in the programMaintain open communication with parents and familiesParticipate in ongoing professional development opportunitiesAssist with daily classroom activities and routinesSkills:As an Assistant School Age Teacher, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
