Your role. Your work will include, but not be limited to: - Manage forensic accounting engagements
- Conduct fraud investigations
- Prepare and review written reports
- Evaluate internal control structures and data to help identify weaknesses and associated risks and make recommendations on how to mitigate those risks and evaluate the general risk faced by clients
- Analyze accounting procedures and controls for possible exposure to fraudulent financial reporting
- Summarize, analyze and prepare reports in clear, logical and concise manner
- Interact with and interview clients and other external sources to obtain relevant information and documents
- Help develop and manage staff
- Engages in client expansion and cross-serving with meaningful fees sold goal; recognizes importance of lead generation
- Review and lead proposals and engagement letter development
- Builds a relationship with client decision-makers where ideas and new service offerings can be discussed
- Begins to develops personal relationships with third parties associated with the client (e.g., banker, attorney, vendor, etc.) to facilitate referrals
- Analyzes budgets/time summaries for planning and billing purposes; leads billing activities; responsible for realization goals
- Responsible for practice economics including production, realization, billing and collection
- Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise
- Actively manages a portfolio of decision makers in ways that create referrals and references.
