- Employee Discount - Generous employee discount on ALL merchandiseResponsibilitiesAs a General Manager, you will be required to lead by example selling to our customers as well as learn the ins and outs of the General Manager role. Your duties are (but are not limited to):
- Work a minimum of a 48 hour weekly retail schedule
- Achieve personal sales goal.
- Effectively and efficiently assist with managing the sales team and new hires
- Provide training and set goals for sales team
- Create an extraordinary experience for our guests.
- Provide support to the store's Management Team whenever needed and be able to fulfill their role and duties as necessary.
- Maintain great communication with the store's Management Team regarding individual and department performance.
- Conduct morning and afternoon huddle meetings with an agenda designed to motivate, inform, and educate sales professionals, as well as the management team, on sales-related information.
- Focus on driving sales including all steps of the sales process.
- Coach a sales professional in a one-on-one setting regarding improvement of the sales process.
- Shadow sales professionals to ensure the sales process is being followed.
- Recognize sales professionals' weaknesses during actual sales interactions and coach them to improve.
- Debrief a sales professional immediately after a sales interaction in a way that recognizes their strengths and areas for improvement.
- Set individual goals for sales professionals based on store goals.
- Maintain constant communication with sales professionals regarding their progress towards goals.
- Have a great passion for working with others and seeing individual and team success.
- Learn all roles and functions within the store and operations.
- Work with the Corporate HR Department to build a great team and maintain full staffing levels within your location.
- Some travel will be required.

- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous demonstrated experience in a customer satisfaction environment preferred.
