The Applications Engineer job in Cleveland, Ohio will contribute to this distinguished organization by administering, managing, and troubleshooting client management and software distribution systems.<br> <br></span><B>Key Responsibilities:</B><br><ul>
<li>Daily administration of, and proficiency in a System Center Configuration Manager 2012 environment, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting clients in this space. </li><li>Manage and troubleshoot software distributions, deployment and clients. </li><li>Monitor performance, identify problems and implement solutions for optimal functionality of all servers and clients.</li><li>Manage monthly patching cycle for software updates including Microsoft and other 3rd party software.</li></ul>
<span style="color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;"> <br></span><B>Candidates Must Have:</B><br><ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field with 2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of SCCM client, Server logs, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Proficiency in Windows 7 and Windows 8 desktop operating systems with an understanding of troubleshooting tools and utilities.</li><li>Ability to write ad-hoc reports using Microsoft Reporting Services and ability to run standard reports using the SCCM reporting feature.</li><li>Strong experience in: Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, Windows 7/8, Microsoft Office.</li><li>Experience with registry and file monitoring tools.</li><li>A strong desire to learn new technology.</li><li>Additional System Center Experience (including System Center Virtual Machine Manager, Operations Manager) is desirable.</li></ul>
