• The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of land surveying projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  In addition, there is the option to be the Lead of the Surveying Team and perform both managerial oversight and field/project-related Surveying aspects... if that aligns with your interests.A company vehicle will be provided. Duties and Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate all aspects of land surveying projects, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.Conduct field surveys and measurements using a variety of modern surveying equipment, such as total stations and GPS.Prepare maps, diagrams, and reports detailing the results of surveys and ensuring their accuracy.Determine property boundaries and provide advice on boundary issues.Collaborate with civil, architects, construction personnel, and planners to provide surveying information for construction and development projects.Ensure compliance with regulations and codes.Stay up to date with new surveying technology and industry developments.Provide advice on property and legal issues related to boundaries and surveying.Resolve discrepancies in survey results.Maintain detailed records of all surveying activities and ensure data integrity. Qualifications:
  Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the states of OH or WV or KY.Minimum of 5-10 years of professional surveying experience, with a strong background in land surveying, cadastral mapping, and survey control.Proficiency or working knowledge in AutoCAD and GIS systems.Good understanding of property law and regulations related to land surveying.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent mathematical skills and proficiency in performing complex calculations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
