- Develop comprehensive, detailed project cost estimates for industrial construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and services.
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications to understand scope and requirements.
- Utilize estimation software such as Primavera, Procore, Planswift, Sage, and Building Connected to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements and deadlines.
- Conduct detailed risk and opportunity assessments for each estimate.
- Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to resolve technical issues during the estimation process.
- Lead cost analysis and cost forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations to optimize cost performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, rates, and pricing to inform estimation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams, providing clear and detailed explanations of estimates and underlying assumptions.Qualifications:
