Description:Zepf Center has been serving the Lucas County community for 50 years. We are the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff. We are currently seeking a 2nd shift Full-Time Residential Aide. This person is responsible for the immediate safety of residents, security of facility and continuity of program services during designated hours. They will work closely with the House Manager and other direct care staff to assist residents in developing and implementing activities and recreational opportunities. Position Hours: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 4pm -12amWeek 2: Monday - Friday 4pm -12am Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide for residents' safety by periodically checking on them and observing any special precautions that might be listed in the chart or logbook.
- Ensure security of the building.
- Carry out specific, applicable treatment plans with residents as listed in the ISP (Individual Service Plan).
- Interact with residents and assist them in skill building and recreational activities per ISP.
- Check on the residents' follow through on required assignments.
- Document significant events in the resident's chart and facility logbook.
- Perform cooking, cleaning chores as necessary such as straightening up kitchen, washing dishes, dusting, facility laundry, etc.
- Respond to and handle situations and/or consult with supervisor.
- Report maintenance problems to the House Manager.
- Carries out policy and procedures of the agency, may participate in community work, staff development, agency wide projects and serve on committees/teams. Attends meetings and performs other related duties as requested.
